Gloria Jean works from a multicultural perspective...abstract and representational forms...dimensional and textured surfaces. Through her mixed media and environmentally defined works, she celebrates the vast richness of our pluralistic society. Gloria attempts to portray all that promises to keep our nation moving onward and all that will nurture the good and the beautiful in all of us everywhere.

An art historian and award winning poet, Gloria attempts to capture universals, common to all peoples, and the positive essence of her multicultural perspective. Gloria Jean has studied with nationally and internationally recognized artists and art historians. She has a diverse academic background (both undergraduate and graduate) and a teaching credential representing a cross-section of behavioral sciences and fine art disciplines.

Her work is represented in Fine Art Galleries on the West Coast and East Coast of America and in private and corporate collections in the U.S. and Japan. She is associated with the National Museum for Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. Gloria is a native of Fort Worth, Texas currently residing in the San Francisco Bay Area.
